Spring 2026 Update
Happy Spring!
I am very pleased to share that my daughter now has her designation and is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor ! She still has a little bit of space on her caseload if anyone has been curious to try art therapy; specializing in children, youth, and young adults. Art therapy can be an alternative or enhancement to “talk therapy” as talk-based approaches are helpful for some but not for everyone. Please help us spread the word about our services!
January 2026 Update
Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!
I hope 2026 is an amazing, happy and healthy new year for you and your families!
The studio will re-open on Monday, January 5th. We look forward to seeing all of you again.
Two notes to start out the new year: First, I am thrilled to share that our practicum student, Beatrix, has now finished her art therapy program and is just waiting for her certification to arrive. She has space for new clients if you know of anyone who is looking for some art therapy. Art therapy is for all ages!
And secondly, a kindly reminder to everyone to please keep kids home if they are ill. This seems to be an active cold and flu season! We are doing our best at our end to keep everything clean and sanitized and we have a couple of young clients who have to be very careful with their health. Families will never receive an invoice for having to cancel due to illness and we will do our best to reschedule. Some of the older children and youth are able to manage a virtual session if they are mildly ill, so that can be another option.
Covid 19 and Communicable Illness Update
Those who access the services at Nature Park Studio are asked to do their best to help to reduce the spread of illness by regular hand-washing and cancelling when sick. Materials and furniture are cleaned often. Hand sanitizer and washroom facilities are always available.
